It was touch and go here recently. I wasn't quiet sure if I would be taking a vacation during Easter break or not. Things got hairy at the office 2 weeks ago with a member of the department, blowing up to another. Well; I'll leave it at that for the time being. I'm gald that I'm off during the break. Since Carter moved in with Damon and I, someone will have to be here to watch him. Damon's now working at a local shop (gave up the security job) so, he'll be gone during the day. Me? Eh; I'll be on vacation enjoying myself. Dunno what I'll be doing just yet. Most likely we'll (Carter, Dylan and I) will take the bus to the lake and do some fishing. That is; they'll fish and I'll work on my cross stitching project. I'm working on a wedding gift for Damon's stepbrother and his partner. They will be exchanging vows in May and I'm hoping like HELL to get the gift completed before the ceremony.
Our neighbor is in the process of moving out; YAY! We've noticed that we're able to sleep all the way through the night now, without being woked up at 2 freaking AM with the vaccum running next door OR, the sound of the 3 kids, chasing one another in the hallway which, runs next to ours. Did I mention that she has a farm in that appartment? Dog, cat, rabbit, kids. No telling what else.
I've applied for another job on campus. I'll know in a month if I get to interview. It's a DA III position which means; higher pay and more responisblity. I believe I'll make it to the interview part but, doubtful that I'll be offered it. Who knows? Maybe I will.
Summer is rapidly approaching. So is my birthday. Still working on that drawing for my tattoo.
