Recent article in the paper today has me steaming.
What is it? Mayor crimes in Bakersfield drop in 2006.

Are crimes being taken care of by the local BPD? Hell no. It takes em at least 2-4 hours to come out to our neighborhood (we live behind the downtown Jail for gawds sakes!). Oh sure; Starbucks gets robbed and yet, when a home is robbed in the middle of the day it takes BPD hours to reach the crime scene.

Roses

Damon brought me a HUGE vase of Roses on V-day. We started dating on Vday 7 yrs ago. Doesn't seem like it's been that long that we have been together. Seems longer. :o)

And on Valentines Day we also lost a pet. :o( We're under the impression that she was pregno's when she croaked however, Damon mentioned that she was pretty skinny looking when he discovered her floating up on top of the water. Maybe she ate all the babies before she departed for the open waves of the Pacific?
